Rowdy Bend Trail
Everglades National Park
The Rowdy Bend Trail follows an old, overgrown access road and eventually meets up with the Snake Bight Trail. Both this and the Snake Bight Trail are backcountry trails which are not maintained by the park. The park relies on volunteers to clear and maintain their backcountry areas. The Rowdy Bend Trail hosts a variety of wildlife as it winds through a beautiful coastal prairie on its way to the Snake Bight Trail intersection. Both trails can be biked or hiked and the two can be connected to form a longer route through the Everglades backcountry.
